Job summary

Target in Seattle, WA is hiring a Service And Engagement Team Leader to guide a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates and Front of Store Attendants in delivering an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience while meeting store sales goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and preferred retail experience. You will coach, onboard, manage workload, and ensure safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks with a team.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly environment.
• Ensure team understands and delivers Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback; coach and recognize good guest moments.
• Review area metrics; take action to improve and align team behaviors.
• Lead a diverse team to meet service and engagement goals.
• Execute onboarding and learning with the team to close skill gaps.
• Understand sales goals and plan daily/weekly workload to drive store goals.
• Support loyalty programs and educate guests on benefits.
