Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to ensure safe, high-quality food and a positive guest experience while keeping the restaurant line organized and staffed with trained crew. You’ll be on your feet, monitor safety and flavor, and help resolve issues to deliver great customer service.

You’ll lead front-of-house teams, cross-train crew, assist with performance reviews, and support office duties like banking and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf-life checks, and daily safety policies.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and stocked.
