The Watermark Hotel in Capital One Center, McLean, VA, is seeking a Guest Services Associate to deliver exceptional service at the front desk. Responsibilities include processing check-ins/check-outs, assisting guests with requests, and providing local information to help guests enjoy their stay.

You will work with a collaborative team to enhance guest satisfaction, follow safety procedures, and contribute to daily hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality; strong verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests.
• Provide guests with hotel information and local attractions; collaborate with other departments.
• Maximize room revenues through selling techniques and up-selling; follow cash handling and cost-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
