Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a qualified hospitality supervisor to join our Malibu store. This non-exempt, hourly position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, supervising shifts, training staff, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in customer service in hospitality, 1 year in management, a HS diploma, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; health benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment (i.e. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management in a hospitality environment
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintaining clear communication with the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer needs and complaints.
• Motivate and guide team members, ensuring swift and friendly service in a clean environment.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety laws and sanitation regulations.
• Assist the General Manager with enforcing procedures and policies at store level.
• Cover shifts and supervise stations; organize and schedule team shifts.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and time-off requests; assign duties accordingly.
• Train new and existing team members on roles and responsibilities.
