Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a store leadership role to drive exceptional guest service and operational excellence. You will lead by example, supervise daily activities, and ensure a clean, inviting environment while enforcing all policies and health standards.

Ideal candidates have hospitality management experience, strong communication, and the ability to close shifts and train staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment (i.e. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management in a hospitality environment
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work closing shifts and during weekends
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus
• Able and willing to close the restaurant as needed, by following all closing procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintaining clear communication with the team
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally
• Motivate and guide team to promote fast, friendly service
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation regulations
• Assist the General Manager with procedures and policies
• Cover all shifts and support stations
• Schedule and supervise shifts of team members
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and time-off requests
• Assign duties to optimize productivity
• Supervise and assist staff to maintain efficiency
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
• Train new and existing team members on roles and responsibilities
• Perform other duties to support store operations
