Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Houston to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations. You will greet guests, assist with purchases, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and product availability on the floor.

This role requires basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, or holidays. You will operate the point of sale, communicate guest requests to management, and assist with onboarding of new hires

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoor, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to count, read and write accurately for paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to established safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, sweeping, etc.).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
