Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store-level tasks in a fast-paced retail environment in Houston, TX. You will greet guests, operate the POS, assist with inventory, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store.

Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays are required. Competitive pay range ($11.00–$14.00/hour) with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401k match, and tuition

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
