Job summary

Global Partners LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive top-notch guest experience while supporting store operations. This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and to perform duties ranging from greeting guests to POS operations and housekeeping.

You will replenish stock, assist with vendor coordination, and maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards and maintain cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
