Job summary

Swig Schererville is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily brand execution, ensure high standards in food, service and store operations, and lead by example in customer care. You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage opening/closing duties, maintain a clean, safe environment, and drive growth through performance improvements and team mentorship.

This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting with a focus

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.

• Willingness to train and mentor team members.
• Experience in restaurant/foodservice operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of Swig brand ensuring policies and quality standards are followed.
• Serve as main point of contact for customer service matters and guest experience.
• Oversee preparation of food and drinks meeting Swig's quality standards.
• Identify hiring needs, interview candidates, and complete hiring processes per guidelines.
• Train staff according to Swig policies; provide mentoring for continuous improvement.
• Document performance issues and implement PIPs as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu to assist staff and customers.
• Ensure opening/closing checklists are completed and store procedures followed.
