Job summary

Swig in Austin, TX is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily brand execution, staff training, and high-quality customer service. You will manage operations, handle hiring, and mentor teammates to maintain top standards across food, drinks, cleanliness, and guest experience.

You will lead by example, ensure deposits are accurate, and drive growth with a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a restaurant or retail team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff effectively.
• Reliability and strong problem-solving ability.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Swig brand execution and ensure quality standards.
• Serve as the main contact for customer service matters.
• Oversee food and drink preparation to Swig standards.
• Hire, interview, and complete onboarding per guidelines.
• Train staff and provide one-on-one mentoring.
• Document disciplinary actions and PIPs as needed.
• Know menu details to assist staff and guests.
• Complete opening/closing checklists and deposits.
• Maintain clean, inviting store environment and safety.
• Order supplies and manage rotation and shelf-life.
