Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a friendly Guest Services Associate for the Red Shield Center and Corps campus to welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service.

You will manage memberships, registrations, and retail transactions, assist with program access, monitor safety, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and adherence to Protect the Mission policies; prior cash handling and POS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, clients, guests, volunteers, and visitors.
• Greet visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct individuals to programs and services.
• Process memberships, registrations, reservations, and retail transactions accurately.
• Balance cash tills, prepare deposits, and document transactions in accordance with procedures.
• Promote memberships, programs, activities, and services to meet guest needs.
• Conduct facility tours and explain amenities and benefits to prospective members and guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and reporting any facility concerns.
