Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Guest Services Associate for its Red Shield Center and Corps campus. You will be the first friendly contact for members, guests, volunteers, and visitors, providing welcoming, safe, and professional service and accurate information.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding them to programs, processing registrations and retail transactions, handling payments, and promoting memberships and events.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and point-of-sale experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with customers, peers and supervisors.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all client information.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Background check required in accordance with Protect the Mission policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct to programs and services.
• Process memberships, registrations, reservations, and retail transactions accurately.
• Maintain cash handling procedures, balance tills, and prepare deposits.
• Promote programs, events, and services to meet guests' needs.
• Conduct tours and explain facility amenities and membership benefits.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe environment reflecting The Salvation Army's mission.
