Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver friendly service, resolve returns, support order pickup, and process transactions accurately at the register. You will mentor new hires on the POS and help maintain a positive, team-driven environment.

Building trust with customers and teammates is essential to stand out. Hours vary including evenings and weekends. You will promote the Nordstrom Loyalty program and leverage new tools to enhance the customer and employee

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish, including returns and exchanges.
• Support order pickup inquiries and accurately process transactions using POS and store systems.
• Mentor new employees on the register to support onboarding and consistency.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Promote Nordstrom Loyalty program and new tools to enhance customer and employee experience.
