Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago is seeking a Welcome Desk Attendant to join its front desk team. You will handle sign-ins, process simple transactions, input data into the POS system, and maintain a neat, safe reception area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer service with data entry duties.
• Experience with a computer-based work environment.
• Familiarity with Web based, and smart phone application preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at the welcome desk and provide assistance.
• Input all sales and data into the POS system and manage cash as needed.
• Maintain a neat and safe reception area and answer questions about center programs.
• Assist in directing guests and handling inquiries during busy periods.
