Job summary

Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking an on-call/part-time front desk team member for the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort location. You will answer calls, describe rooms and amenities, accommodate guest requests, and maintain guest history records to ensure excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel operations, scheduled daily activities, and room products.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies and standards.
• Answer telephone calls within 3 rings with proper salutations.
• Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
• Describe room accommodations and amenities.
• Accommodate special requests and document in system.
• Access guest history records to service guests; maintain data.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle assigned bank and ensure monetary accuracy.
• Communicate guest information to relevant departments.
• Present folio, resolve disputed charges.
• Assist departments with information on groups, inventory, and guest data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
