Sherato in Des Moines is seeking a charismatic Part-Time Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in/out, and set the tone for a memorable stay.

You will collaborate with hotel teams, handle guest information and requests, and participate in the Management Development Program for potential advancement within the company. This role emphasizes professional service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred; we’re willing to train the right customer service professional.
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.
• Excellent speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Comfortable using computer systems and software; hotel system experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Assist with check-in and check-out while ensuring an efficient and seamless experience.
• Manage guest information, room assignments, and key distribution.
• Answer guest questions and provide helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area.
