Job summary

Residence Inn Springdale is seeking a Front Desk Agent for the 3pm to 11pm shift. You will provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests before arrival and throughout their stay, manage check-ins/check-outs, and handle reservations and inquiries during your shift. Candidates should have hospitality experience, cash handling skills, and strong communication.

English fluency and a valid driver's license are required. Weekend and holiday availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
• Must assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources.
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the front desk or through reservations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
• Answer all guest inquiries (i.e. hotel services and amenities, the area, etc.).
• Ensure delivery of packages, mail and messages as needed to guests.
• Be familiar with Lexima/Brand policies and hotel rules.
• Be aware of rates, packages, and special promotions.
• Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with the hotel staff.
• Complete shift responsibility checklist.
• Keep front office area clean and organized.
