ValorHospitality is seeking a friendly front desk agent in Orange Beach, AL to welcome guests, handle registrations and reservations, and guide visitors to local attractions. You will upsell room rates, balance charges, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure optimal room readiness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong computer and cash handling skills, and the ability to stay on their feet during shifts. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in guest services is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and handle registrations.
• Make room reservations and provide quotes; upsell where appropriate.
• Verify registration details and charges against guest folio; balance cash.
• Pre-register and block reservations, handle same-day and future bookings.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Desk for room status and needs.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, local attractions and services.
• Manage phone lines and provide hotel information to callers.
• Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
