Job summary

Four Points Charleston is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally. You will check guests in/out, handle payments, and promote hotel services while upselling to maximize guest satisfaction.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong typing and computer skills. A flexible schedule including weekends/holidays is required to support the hotel’s operations and guest needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Typing and computer aptitude required.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Registers guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner, using up selling techniques to maximize room rates.
• Checks guests out and processes payments according to policies.
• Responds to guest requests and provides local information to increase satisfaction.
• Resolves guest complaints and informs supervisor of major issues.
• Books reservations or coordinates with the reservation center; handles cashiering duties.
