Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a Front Desk Agent for the Hyatt Place Austin Airport in Austin, TX. You will greet guests, register them, process payments, and promote guest programs while delivering warm, knowledgeable service.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and computer skills, with responsibilities spanning check-ins, check-outs and responding to guest inquiries to ensure a seamless stay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours.
• Must have finger dexterity to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, register them in the system, verify reservations and payments.
• Promote guest programs, provide recognition and benefits to members.
• Handle payments at check-in/check-out and manage a house bank.
• Issue keys, manage safety deposits, and post charges.
• Respond to guest complaints quickly and professionally.
• Assist guests with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
• Assist with luggage, shuttle service, and local area information.
• Maintain communications with other departments and follow SOPs.
