Job summary

Hotel Equities, in partnership with Hyatt Place Austin Airport, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver professional, courteous service to guests. You will check guests in/out, handle payments, and provide accurate information about the hotel and local area.

Strong communication, cash handling, and basic computer skills are essential. A high school diploma is required; prior hospitality experience is a plus, with flexible scheduling and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hotel brand processes and standards is preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well with guests and team members.
• Basic computational ability and familiarity with computer systems.
• Strong service orientation and cash handling aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, register them into the computer and verify reservations.
• Handle payments at check-in and checkout; maintain a cash bank and report receipts.
• Issue room keys and control access to safety deposit boxes; post charges as requested.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide knowledge of local area and hotel services.
• Follow SOPs and support other departments as needed.
• Maintain professional, courteous, and efficient service at all times.
