Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Texas to greet guests, operate the POS, and support store operations while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

You will handle cash and register procedures, replenish products, and assist management with vendor communications. Flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts is required; reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minor safety: must be able to use OSHA approved knives.
