Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, assist shoppers, and help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming store environment.

In this role you will operate the point-of-sale system, manage cash and basic transactions, and coordinate with management on guest requests and vendor tasks. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work in intermittent temperatures outdoors or in cooler.
• Able to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all store areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Accurate counting, reading, and writing for required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
