Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Guest Service Associate to enhance guest experiences and support daily store tasks. You will greet customers, operate the POS, replenish stock, and assist with store housekeeping and safety procedures.

The role requires flexibility for varied hours, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. You will also assist with onboarding new hires and coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work day, night, weekend or holiday shifts.
• Basic computer skills required to operate POS and store systems.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (outdoor, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all areas of the store including selling floor and back stock area.
• Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner and manage workload.
• Ability to read, count, and write to complete paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hire staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Follow safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale system according to corporate standards.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as directed.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
