Job summary

Global Partners LP in Connecticut is seeking a friendly Guest Service Associate to greet guests, deliver a welcoming shopping experience, and support daily store operations.

You'll handle POS transactions, maintain safety and cleanliness, restock shelves, and coordinate with management on guest requests and vendor matters. Flexible hours, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in various temperatures are required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
