Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in New York to deliver a welcoming shopping experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, assist with requests, and maintain cleanliness and stock levels while following safety and cash handling procedures.

The role requires reliable transportation, flexible hours including weekends/holidays, and ability to work in temperature-varied environments. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and operate the POS system accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lotteries, tobacco levels as required.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks and keep shelves stocked.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.
