Job summary

Global Partners LP in the New York area is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top‑notch guest experiences and support store operations.

You will greet guests, operate the point of sale, maintain safety and quality, restock shelves, and coordinate with vendors and management.

The role requires flexible hours, reliable transportation, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and a commitment to teamwork within a Fortune 500 company with long‑standing community ties.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Access all store areas including selling floor, stock area and register area.
• Able to count, read and write to complete paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping tasks.
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
