Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-tier guest experiences and support all store-level tasks. This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and efficient cash handling at the point of sale, with responsibilities spanning inventory, housekeeping, and vendor coordination.

We value flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays, plus reliable transportation and the ability to work in varying temperatures outside and inside the store.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas including selling floor, stock area, and register.
• Count, read and write accurately for required paperwork.
• Assist with onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
