Job summary

Global Partners LP in Guilford, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-tier guest experience and support store-level operations. You’ll greet guests, maintain safety and cleanliness, and operate the point-of-sale system to ensure accurate transactions.

Flexibility is required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should have basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or guest service preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately.
• Adherence to safety, security and quality policies.
• Stock shelves and maintain cleanliness and order.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete housekeeping tasks and replenish products.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may use OSHA approved knives.
