Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate to help guests have a quick, friendly shopping experience. You will greet guests, answer questions, promote loyalty enrollment, and explain how to use Drive Up, Order Pickup, and the Target app to make shopping easier.

This role requires strong communication, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to multitask with scanners and devices in a fast-paced environment. Training will cover product knowledge, service standards, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs.
• Make guests aware of promos, store activities and events.
• Know and speak to store tools, products, and services to help guests.
• Understand and show how to use features within the Target App including Wallet.
• Assist with Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll.
• Handle returns per policy and escalate to leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and stock supplies during open hours.
• Demonstrate safety and compliance in all duties.
• All other duties based on business needs.
