Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a Guest Services Agent at The Monsaraz San Diego. This part-time role involves frontline service, greeting guests, checking in/out, handling reservations, and providing information about local attractions.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and skilled in cash handling and computer systems. Responsibilities include managing registrations, room rates, and ensuring accurate folio charges while balancing cash at shift end.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Three to twelve months of employment in a related position guest relation position with this company or other organizations.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills; ability to stand for extended periods; sociable, outgoing, guest service-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, provide room reservations, give recommendations, and directions.
• Verify registration cards against computer for accuracy.
• Pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day or future reservations following rate structures and sell strategies.
• Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and ensure charges are correctly posted.
• Balance cash at start and end of shift; handle cash equivalents.
• Resolve guest complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
• Manage phone activity and assist callers with information.
