Job summary

The Monsaraz San Diego, operated by Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC, seeks a dedicated Restaurant Server to provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, memorizing menus, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting post-meal service. TIPs certification and 3–6 months in food/beverage service are preferred; high school education or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 3–6 months experience in a food/beverage service environment.
• Must be TIPs certified.
• Must read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and drink orders, serving promptly and courteously.
• Maintain accuracy of checks and process payments.
• Restock and perform opening/closing side-work.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining area, wait station, and service areas.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings for product knowledge.
