Job summary

Hyatt Place Asheville Airport is seeking a hotel guest service agent to welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and handle reservations at a busy airport area property.

You will process payments, assist with concierge duties, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met. Prior hospitality experience and a friendly, patient demeanor are valued for delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening abilities.
• Basic computer skills and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Guest Reception: Welcome guests, verify reservations, assign rooms, issue keys, explain amenities and policies.
• Communications: Answer phones, route inquiries, manage messages, and schedule wake-up calls.
• Problem Resolution: Listen to guest concerns with empathy and provide fast, professional solutions.
• Concierge Duties: Share local knowledge and book activities as requested.
• Department Coordination: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness and requests.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage cash drawers, process payments, and maintain daily logs.
