Hyatt Place Asheville Airport is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure guests enjoy a smooth stay and to maintain precise financial records. You will reconcile transactions, generate reports, and support front desk operations during overnight shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, and experience with accounting or reservation software. Some college is preferred, with a flexible overnight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay.
• Reconcile credit card transactions, financial records, occupancy percentages, room charges, final bill, and cash drawer after audits.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for hotel management and department heads.
• Coordinate housekeeping, security, and service requests; respond to guest inquiries; resolve guest complaints; assist with reservations and check-ins.
• Handle additional administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures as needed.

Our property is growing rapidly and we are looking for a night auditor who loves working with people, possesses a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and has bookkeeping experience! We provide the tools and training to bolster your hospitality career goals. If you are seeking an overnight position with a team of true professionals

• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Reconcile all credit card transactions, financial records, occupancy percentages, room charges, final bill preparation, and cash drawer activity after a thorough audit process
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest complaints, process reservations and check-ins, and other front desk agent duties as required
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Front desk clerk duties, guest services, night auditor or previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required

Compensation

$18 per hour
