Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at our Lewisburg, PA location to greet customers and manage front-end checkout with accurate transactions. Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register; bagging merchandise and placing merchandise in customer’s cart.
• Ensures accurate transactions and proper funds are collected; follows guidelines on tobacco and alcohol sales; maintains cash drawer security.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
• Maintains general sanitation; follows cleaning schedules to keep areas, equipment, and displays clean and compliant with health/OSHA rules.
• Cooperates with co-workers and supervisors to keep department and store functioning smoothly; adheres to PPE usage.
