Job summary

Weis Markets in Pennsylvania is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly. You will operate the front-end scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate transactions with proper funds.

Responsibilities include following tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines, maintaining cleanliness, and cooperating with team members to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and answers questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register.
• Bag merchandise efficiently and place items in the customer’s cart.
• Ensure accurate transactions and collect appropriate funds.
• Follow store and legal guidelines for sale of tobacco and alcohol.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department and store areas.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operation.
• Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
