Job summary

Weis Markets in Danville, PA is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and help resolve concerns promptly in a polite, professional manner. You will operate the front-end, scan items, ring up purchases, bag merchandise, and ensure accuracy at checkout while following tobacco and alcohol sale rules.

You’ll help keep areas clean, follow safety guidelines, wear PPE, cooperate with teammates, and may assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with questions or concerns in a polite, professional manner.
Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; ring up purchases and bag merchandise.
Maintain accuracy at checkout and follow cash handling procedures; observe tobacco and alcohol sale rules.
Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and promotions to answer customer questions.
Keep department clean and organized; follow health and OSHA guidelines.
Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department function and improve performance.
Use PPE provided by the company (gloves, safety equipment, etc.).
May assist in other departments as needed.
