Job summary

Hampton Inn Jackson Hole is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver friendly, professional service at the front desk. You will assist guests with check-in/check-out, answer inquiries, operate the telephone system, process reservations and payments, coordinate with housekeeping, and resolve guest concerns using the Guest Service Recovery method to ensure a flawless stay.

This role requires strong communication, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a busy

Qualifications

• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Proficient with standard computer applications.
• Weekend/holiday availability, possible overtime.
• Previous guest service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in/check-out or general inquiries.
• Operate the telephone system for internal/external calls.
• Complete reports regarding reservations, cancellations, occupancy, and payments.
• Verify payments including cash and credit card authorizations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping on room status and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle guest complaints using the Guest Service Recovery method.
• Complete endofshift reports and deposits per cash-handling procedures.
• Report safety/security concerns.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as needed or directed.
