Job summary

Target in Indianapolis is seeking a Guest Advocate to welcome guests, answer questions, and guide them through order pickup, drive-up, and loyalty sign-ups. You will help guests find products, demonstrate app features, and resolve issues with a friendly, efficient approach.

The role favors strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy store environment while maintaining safety and accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues for the guest.
• Thank guests and help with loyalty program sign-up when needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Understand and show guests how to use the Target App and related features.
• Assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering guidance.
