Job summary

Weis Markets in Mill Hall, PA is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help resolve concerns with courtesy while following store policies. You will handle checkout, bag merchandise, and maintain accuracy of transactions.

You will assist in maintaining clean and safe work areas, follow health and OSHA guidelines, use PPE, and may help in other departments as needed. No prior experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register and handles checkout procedures, including bagging merchandise.
• Maintains transaction accuracy and proper cash handling, and adheres to policies for tobacco/alcohol sales.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout to answer questions.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness; follows schedules to keep work areas clean and OSHA compliant.
• Follows PPE guidelines and uses provided equipment.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
