Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to welcome and assist guests, helping them find products and resolve issues. You will promote in-store and digital services, including the Target App and loyalty programs, while maintaining a friendly, efficient checkout flow.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to busy periods, and a customer-first attitude. Training is provided to build product knowledge and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including positive language and attentiveness to guest needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate store tech devices.
• Work independently and with a team; stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues to ensure smooth shopping.
• Explain and promote Target services and benefits to guests.
• Scan and bag items efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Support peers and maintain a clean, organized work area during shifts.
• Handle returns and exchanges in line with Target policies.
