Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate to help guests with a welcoming, efficient shopping experience. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, and resolve questions while promoting store services and the Target App.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to busy periods, weekends and holidays. Training is provided to help you excel in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience with a friendly greeting and helpful interactions.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support teammates and maintain a positive, respectful attitude.
• Promote current promos, store activities and Target App features.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, following safety standards.
• Assist guests with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering processes.
• Handle returns or exchanges following store policies and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to a culture of compliance.
