Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Bridgeport, CT to deliver top-notch guest experience and support store operations. Responsibilities include greeting guests, operating the POS, maintaining safety standards, and replenishing stock.

The role requires flexibility for day/evening shifts, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and reliability for outdoor and cooler environments. Training and onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible days including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors/cooler).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs; lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas (selling floor, stock, register).
• Accurate counting, reading, and writing for required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Follow established safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
