Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Meriden, CT to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, handle basic clerical tasks, and ensure clean, in-stock conditions.

The role requires flexibility to work day, night, weekend or holiday shifts, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. We provide onboarding and safety training as part of our commitment to growth and safety in a Fortune 500

Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to perform basic computer functions.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor‑related concerns.
Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
