Job summary

Global Partners LP in Connecticut is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support day-to-day store operations. You’ll greet customers, assist with purchases, and help keep the store safe and welcoming.

This role requires flexibility for day, night, weekends or holidays, basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. You’ll contribute to teamwork and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work in temperatures outside and in cooler areas.
• Able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
