Job summary

Global Partners LP is looking for a Guest Service Associate to enhance the guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, and ensure shelves are stocked while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves basic computer tasks, lifting up to 25 lbs, and movement across store areas. Training new hires and exceptional service are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Able to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock area, register).
• Capable of counting, reading and writing accurately for paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in vendors according to guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
