Job summary

Salt & Straw Meridian is seeking a Shift Coordinator to help run daily shop operations, coach team members, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will support scooping, hosting, register work, and daily tasks while ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with 6+ months of food service or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, retail, or food service preferred.
• Able to coach and support team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shop operations to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Coach and guide team members during shifts with real-time feedback.
• Operate sections of the shop including register, hosting, and cleaning as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts, cash handling, and daily documentation.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
