Job summary

Onni Group of Companies, operating through the Solette brand, seeks a friendly, fast-paced Server to welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience in Chicago. You will follow the established service sequence, handle payments, upsell items, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with teammates to deliver warm, efficient service in a busy environment.

Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Follow established service sequence for consistent guest experiences.
• Handle payment for guest purchases in compliance with PCI and cash handling procedures.
• Ring guest orders through the POS system.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Work with a spirit of teamwork.
• Communicate needs and ideas to management.
• Maintain current knowledge of the menu.
• Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes.
• Deliver food promptly to guests according to table positions.
• Move chairs, tables, and highchairs safely.
• Use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken directions.
• Multitask calmly in a busy environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies.
• Upsell items to guests.
• Check IDs for legal age compliance.
• Perform side work as needed.
• Keep server station clean and organized.
