Job summary

Viceroy Washington DC is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver the highest level of attentive, friendly service in a luxury hotel setting. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and process payments with accuracy and courtesy.

You should be well-versed in menu knowledge and upselling, comfortable with a POS system, and able to stand for long shifts while maintaining a polished appearance and professional demeanor throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull when needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests in a courteous, attentive, and efficient manner.
• Receive and deliver orders, and handle payments.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and daily specials.
• Pre-bus and reset tables, keep dining areas clean and stocked.
• Upsell food, beverages, and promotional items to guests.
