HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a restaurant attendant at The Westin Waltham Boston to provide guests with exceptional service and to support bar and dining operations. You will greet guests, take orders, input into the POS, and ensure accuracy and timely delivery of meals and beverages.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage service, superb guest relations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding brand standards and safety regulations.

Competenze

• Professional appearance at all times.
• Willing to pitch in and be a team player.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room.
• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication; adaptable to different audiences.

Mansioni

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests and explain specials/promotions.
• Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to ensure accuracy.
• Input the order into the Point of Sale system and inform the kitchen.
• Retrieve orders up to 30 lbs., confirm accuracy, and deliver with condiments.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate rules for serving alcohol.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Present the check to guest promptly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
